Fantastisch! Zo zou ik de eerste drie maanden van het\u00a0Blokland Smart Multi-Asset Fund<\/strong>\u00a0willen omschrijven. Het opzetten van een eigen beleggingsfonds met een unieke mix van kwaliteitsaandelen, fysiek goud en Bitcoin is spannend, uitdagend en ondernemend, maar ook tijdrovend en soms een beetje frustrerend. Maar als het dan lukt, vooral dankzij het vertrouwen van mijn klanten en met de hulp van mijn partners, geeft dat heel veel voldoening.<\/p>

13% rendement<\/strong><\/h2>
In de eerste drie maanden van het jaar heeft het Blokland Smart Multi-Asset Fund een rendement (na kosten) behaald van bijna 13%. Dat is veel. Inmiddels is het totale fondsvermogen opgelopen tot ruim boven de 3 miljoen euro. Daarbij is geen startkapitaal of andere initi\u00eble investering inbegrepen die er op enig moment nog uit zou moeten. Ik ben zelf de allereerste belegger, en ook die investering blijft vanzelfsprekend in het fonds. Als deelnemer ben ik uiteraard ook bijzonder tevreden over de resultaten.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Samen beleggen<\/strong><\/h2>
Maar er is meer. Los van de goede resultaten is het ook heel fijn om zo\u2019n fonds te mogen managen. Ik heb al mijn klanten (meerdere malen) gesproken en in veel gevallen ook ontmoet. Het is heel prettig om direct te kunnen schakelen, vragen te beantwoorden en het vertrouwen te geven dat het fonds een mooie oplossing biedt. Dat stukje vertrouwen is essentieel en is al reden genoeg om een fonds van de grond af aan zelf op te bouwen. Het geeft je veel flexibiliteit om klanten zo goed mogelijk te bedienen. Binnen een grote organisatie is dat een stuk lastiger.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Smaakt naar meer<\/strong><\/h2>
De eerste drie maanden waren geweldig, en dit is nog maar het begin. Wat steevast naar voren kwam in de vele gesprekken die ik de afgelopen drie maanden heb gevoerd, is dat beleggers op zoek zijn naar iets anders. Ze willen niet meer beleggen in traditionele beleggingsportefeuilles met alleen aandelen en obligaties, en voor de dienstverlening van de meeste vermogensbeheerders en private banks lopen ze ook niet warm.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

De mix van kwaliteitsaandelen, fysiek goud en Bitcoin, gecombineerd met persoonlijke aandacht, slaat juist goed aan. Voor deze maand hebben de eerste nieuwe klanten zich reeds gemeld. Ik werk bovendien momenteel hard om met meer beleggers in contact te komen. En ook al worden die wellicht niet allemaal klant, het persoonlijke aspect blijft voor mij de kers op de taart.<\/p>

PIONEERING WITH PASSION<\/strong><\/h1>

Fantastic! That’s how I’d describe the first three months of the Blokland Smart Multi-Asset Fund. Establishing an investment fund with a unique blend of quality stocks, physical gold, and Bitcoin is exciting, challenging, and enterprising. At the same time, it is also time-consuming and occasionally a bit frustrating (regulation has gone way too far.) However, the success, largely due to my clients’ trust and my partners’ support, is immensely rewarding.<\/p>

13% Return<\/strong><\/h2>
In the first quarter of the year, the Blokland Smart Multi-Asset Fund realized a return (after fees) of nearly 13%. That’s significant. The total fund capital has grown to well over 3 million euros, without any seed capital or other initial investments that might need to be ‘repaid’ later. I’m the first investor, and my investment remains within the fund. As a participant, I’m also particularly pleased with the results.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Investing Together<\/strong><\/h2>
But there’s more. Beyond the solid results, managing such a fund is incredibly fulfilling. I’ve spoken to (and, in many cases, met) all my clients several times. Interacting directly, answering questions, and discussing the fund’s valuable solution is gratifying. That element of trust is crucial and reason enough to build a fund from the ground up. It offers great flexibility in serving clients as best as possible, something that’s much harder to achieve within a large organization.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Appetite for More<\/strong><\/h2>
Even though the first three months have been great, they are just beginning. What consistently emerged in my many conversations over these months is that investors are genuinely looking for something different. They are less interested in traditional investment portfolios comprised solely of stocks and bonds and are not enthused by the services of most wealth managers and private banks.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The combination of quality stocks, physical gold, and Bitcoin, coupled with personal attention, resonates well. This month, the first new clients have already signed up, and I’m looking at several ways to connect with more investors. For me, the personal touch remains the icing on the cake.<\/p>
